Fully accessible living accommodation and accessible garden with patio area and raised beds, designed with the wheelchair user in mind. Close to Loch Lomond and the Trossachs. Open all year.
Clober Farm apartment and grounds was bequeathed to our charity in 2007 and, following the extensive renovations, was officially opened by our Honorary President HRH The Princess Royal in 2012.
Clober Farm is a self-catering apartment that can sleep up to 6 people, in three bedrooms. There is level access throughout and a combined kitchen/living area with patio doors leading onto a patio area and landscaped garden.
We welcome assistance dogs and pets but would ask that guests refrain from smoking
in the premises.
Milngavie has train links to Glasgow and Edinburgh, plus a pedestrianised precinct with independent retailers and eateries.
Official Opening & Royal Visit
The original apartment and grounds were bequeathed to Spinal Injuries Scotland in 2007 by the late Viv Donaldson (Physiotherapist at the Queen Elizabeth National Spinal Injuries Unit in Glasgow and Spinal Injuries Scotland Member) on the understanding that Clober Farm was to be made exclusively available to be rented by people with disabilities who require the adapted facilities we offer.
Following a comprehensive program of extensive renovations, Clober Farm was officially opened by our honorary president HRH The Princess Royal in 2012.
The opening is a source of great pride for SIS as it was successfully arranged by a small team of SIS staff working together with four police departments to coordinate the visit and maintain all security measures required for a Royal Visit.

Green Tourism Award
We are members of The Green Business Scheme and have been awarded the Bronze award.
The Green Tourism award shows our commitment to using locally sourced produce in our welcome packs and using eco-friendly cleaning products bought from our local Fairtrade Shop based in Milngavie.
We are proud of our Green Tourism award and look forward to making even more steps towards a greener business over the coming months.
